A full time artist and jewelry designer, Athina's inspiration comes from walking in the foggy , moss covered wilderness and rocky beaches in the Pacific Northwest were she curently lives with her family. She started drawing faeries in her early teens, and created many things from costume wings and felted mushrooms. 

 

 

I try to spend all my 'free' time on the rocky Oregon beaches collecting sea glass and agates, and walking in the moss covered forests. All these beautiful places help me to re-align my being and connect to Nature. The smell of damp moss is one of my favorite things!  

My love for faeries comes from my childhood imagination while reading fairytales as a child, which is when I fell in love with Brian and Wendy Froud and their magical realm which they have created.
